Jonkershoek Valley, Stellenbosch. 6 km on the hour, every hour - for as long as your heart wants to keep going. From sunrise, through the moon, back to sunrise. Every profit goes back to the valley.
Held deep in the Jonkershoek Valley - MTO Stellenbosch's pine-and-fynbos backyard - this is a full 24 hour backyard ultra. From 09:00 on 31 October 2026 to 09:00 on 1 November 2026.
Loops are 6 km. Runners depart on the hour, every hour. Finish before the top of the next hour and you can line up again, or sit the next one out, no drama. This isn't about being the last one standing. It's about running your heart out for a good cause, alongside good people.
The field is intentionally small - an intimate weekend in the valley. No fuss, no chaos, just the trail, your people, and 24 hours to make it count.
Run as many loops as you want. Skip a lap, sit one out, take a nap in your camp chair — no judgement. The only hard rule is that every departure is on the hour. Come back at 67 minutes? You wait for the next start. It's a long day out with friends, not a spreadsheet.
Grab your crew and share the load. Team members tag each other into the next loop, run together, run apart, skip laps as a squad. Same golden rule — leave on the hour. Everything else is up to you. A team captain enters the team details and pays once for the whole order. The confirmation goes to the captain's email.
A rolling forest and jeep track loop on MTO Stellenbosch land, with the Jonkershoek peaks watching every step. Runnable, honest, and dramatically different under headtorch at 03:00.
Fullday6k 2026 kicks off at 09:00 on 31 October and runs straight through the witching hour to sunrise on 1 November. That is not a coincidence — dress-up is strongly encouraged.
Wear it on your first loop. Wear it on your twentieth. Change costumes as the sun goes down. Whatever gets you through the night, the valley wants to see it.
A prize for the best costume of the weekend — voted by runners and crew around the fire on Sunday morning.
Once the sun drops, please pin something reflective or a small light onto your costume. Ghosts are hard to see on a jeep track at 03:00.
Kids and supporters are welcome to come dressed up at the start/finish arch. Spooky, silly, fully committed — bring it.
The full leaderboard from the 2025 edition - every loop, every finisher, every last runner standing.

100% of profits go directly to local causes in the Jonkershoek community - with the community themselves choosing where the funds land.
Can't run? You can still make it matter. Back the race, back the valley.
